Calathea convince

It is not easy to talk about theater also because it is not a question of improvisation but of serious, prolonged study. This is one of the ingredients that has made the promising, I would say already established, Compagnia Teatro Giovani di Torrita grow. For years the boys, in an obvious generational succession, have been trying their hand at studying tempos, diction, poise on stage, mimicry, dance and music so that the interpretation, punctual as every year at the Oscuri, is as convincing as possible. If then, the team of technicians manages to create different situations by skilfully juggling direction, scenography, lights and music, the game is done: this explains, at least in part, the success of the latest staging by those from Valdichiana, CALATHEA, every flower he has his own garden. 

Many elements, not least the live band with composition of original music and lyrics, contributed to creating a visual image that pleasantly moved. The story then left no doubt: the desire for rebirth of a young woman grappling with the glorious past of the family tailoring business, burdened by years of dust and management misfortunes. The courage of the two young protagonists, the young and crazy designer together with Margherita Guarnieri "Mina" heir to the family brand, expertly guided by the omnipresent Gregorio led to the rebirth of the tailoring workshop in a modern way. The actors, dancers, musicians were really great! To the natural talent was added the guidance of a good teacher, the director Emma, in a text that she was able to excite in an atmosphere of brilliant and light comedy in a crescendo of expectation and hope. The ability to edit scenes is notable, one of the strong points of the comedy, consuming the small square meters of space with athletic and versatile editing. 

The Company is growing, bringing with it very young budding talents, even children like the tiny protagonist Mina who has warmed everyone's hearts. The audience in the theater was equally young, a sign of a lively experience that renews itself every year. This time too, the small living room of the Teatro degli Oscuri in Torrita gathered us all around the stage, on a rainy evening at the end of winter, offering us a warm meeting place, of tears, laughter and endless applause.
