Autunno per festeggiare

The wedding in autumn as well as a short weekend break can be enhanced by the spectacle offered by mother nature: the autumnal foliage.

In Tuscany  there are lots of specific destinations for autumnal breaks, but we like to point out some.
The Casentino forests. This forests offer beautiful colors that enrich a territory that is already very spiritual in itself.
In fact, remember that in these places we find two of the most famous hermitages in Tuscany: Camaldoli and the Sanctuary of La Verna.

We have covered these forests for you when the bright yellow and the purple red dominate, the bright green interspersed with orange. Beech maples, fir trees will welcome you in a warm embrace made even more intense by the mysticism that reigns in these places.


Another destination is Monte Amiata Forests, the kingdom of beech and chestnut trees. Just in the autumn there are many festivals dedicated to the chestnut and its precious derivatives, the only sustenance of the people in times that are not too remote. The Amiata, an ancient extinct volcano, welcomes you to the delightful medieval villages not to be missed: Abbadia San Salvatore on the Siena side and Santa Fiora on the Grosseto side. Always in the autumn, on sunny days, you can relax in the thermal resorts such as Bagni San Filippo and Saturnia.

Autumn and foliage in general creates a fresh, natural environment for your decorations with a creative variety of green alternating with bright red and orange of autumn leaves.

Tuscany vineyards
Let us not forget the charm of the vineyards in autuno, just after the harvest. One of the most beautiful country scenery in the world.
The traditional foliage is protagonist od great decorations: arches, gazebos, caves, wallpapered walls.
Aromatic plants are very fashionable too: the beautiful creations, even simple, enrich the environment with smells and flavors that are well matched to the Mediterranean menus, so loved by Italians and foreigners.
These are above all the latter that require these flavors and knowledge, these homegrown stories that invade our beautiful Italian tables, increasingly chosen as wedding choreographies by our friends from beyond the Alps and overseas.
In autumn not to forget the pumpkins and mushrooms in all their variations: they abound in colors and flavors, suitable for this both on the palate and on sight thanks to the amazing choreographies that can be made with them.
